Shame on Wyoming

I am officially ashamed of my state and the lie that Microsoft is perpetrating on the subject of wind energy. They fully admit they MUST backup their wind power and are going with the grid instead of diesel generators. This means they are running on the same power everyone else is—exactly what everyone else is. All they have done is pay for the wind energy. They are NOT saving the planet, they are killing bats and eagles and endorsing an energy form that is very, very environmentally damaging. They are apparently PROUD to kill the eagles and bats. They care not a whit about the damage they do as long as they can look “green”. Green means making tons of money any way they can. This is no different than an oil company that makes it’s living drilling for oil. It’s about MONEY. Only about money. I am very tired of the lies and dishonesty of these people. To pretend you can run a cloud center on 19th century power technology is ridiculous. It ranks up there with saying unicorns power your business.  Yet for some reason, fools keep backing this. Maybe Microsoft could demand all it’s employees ride horses to work in keeping with the backward “progress” they so love.  Perhaps the new federal administration can make clear just what a lie and scam this is. In the meantime, look for more dead eagles and more self-righteous chest beating from the planet destroyers.

Wyoming has always been willing to sell their grandmother to the devil, along with their kids, wives and dogs if it meant looking more like the popular crowd.  Not to mention they love federal hand-outs.  Just love them.  Contrary to the popular notion of independent, self-sufficient people, the elected representatives spend all their time drinking up as much federal money as possible and trying to be Colorado.  It’s really very, very sad and pathetic.  Yet even a Trump victory is unlikely to stop Wyoming’s habit of prostituting itself out to the highest bidder.

Wandering Words

“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert”. - J Robert Oppenheimer.
